Dr Therese Morris

Therese has worked with Brendan Burns for the past several years, and has been instrumental in coordinating field trips and sampling in Shark Bay with joint collaborator Pieter Visscher. Therese is an Earth system scientist from Curtin University in Perth, who has worked in both petroleum industry exploration geoscience and environmental impact assessment for over 20 years. She has been studying the biological and sediment system interactions with a focus on assessing impacts of climate change in Shark Bay since 2010. She served on the Shark Bay World Heritage Advisory Committee for seven years.
