Julia Meltzer

Julia is undertaking a PhD in the group, examining mechanisms of viral resistance - particularly that of CRISPR-Cas systems - in the mat ‘microbial dark matter’ with a focus on the Asgard archaea. Julia is also qualified to look after small children, and explains her tolerance of some academics.
